ABOUT DISSIDENT

Originally founded in 2013, the Dissident brand has changed hands several times and is now under the ownership of husband-and-wife team Cynn and Joshua Coburn. The couple brings years of cigar marketing experience to the table and an attitude that perfectly matches the core values and beliefs of the brand. In their press release, Cynn Corburn stated - “We are all dissidents in some way, and we love to bring that to the forefront of our lives!”. “It’s nothing to be ashamed of. In fact, we celebrate it.”

Though the Corburn’s recently purchased the company the core lines will remain unchanged. The previous owner, Benjamin Holt, teamed up with James Brown (owner of the Oveja Negra factory) to create two of their top blends: the Dissident Bloc and Dissident Soapbox.
