ABOUT EMILIO
Emilio cigars are back and better than ever. The Emilio brand was originally founded in 2010 as the flagship line in a group of boutiques known as the “House of Emilio.” For five years, the House of Emilio grew under the guidance of Gary Griffith and offered some of the best boutiques on the market. Unfortunately, when Gary retired in 2015, the brand seemed to retire with him.
Fortunately, the brand was resurrected a few years back with James Brown at the helm. For the unfamiliar, James Brown is a rising star in the cigar industry. Though he only opened his factory (Fabrica Oveja Negra) in 2015, James has already created numerous award-winning brands. Most famously, James is the master blender for Black Label Trading Co. and BLK WKS Studio.
The Emilio Side 1 and Side 2 are a great starting point for the brand, offering medium-bodied profiles in both San Andres (Side 1) and Habano (Side 2). If you’re looking for a great Connecticut, try the Emilio Suave. A new style Connecticut cigar, this is a perfect choice for a morning cigar. Finally, if you’re after that classic Oveja Negra style, the Emilio Grimalkin is a medium to full-bodied cigar with spicy pepper and cedar backed by a creamy finish.
