For those not familiar with culebras - it is spanish for "snake" and they have been around in the cigar industry for decades. There is very little history around culebras, but the legend is that they were made so that factory owners could easily track cigar consumption by the rollers. They were given 3 gratis cigars per day, and this allegedly helped track that.

Whether that tale is true or not, there is one thing that is certain about culebras - they are about as eye-catching as it comes. As Robert Caldwell launched his Craft & Curated series, the Antoinette Culebra Lanceros were in the initial releases. This was a blend in the series that was not a modified existing blend, but was crafted from scratch. If you're going to make something brand new in a line called "Craft & Curated" it makes perfect sense to put it in a unique size like a culebra lancero.
