CAO Amazon Basin is one of those cigars that offer a truly unique experience. For this release, CAO sourced Bragança tobacco from the Amazon rainforest, which lies at the heart of it's filler blend. Bragança tobacco is harvested only once every three years and fermented in tightly woven ropes, as opposed to the traditional 'pilon' method. Wrapped in an Ecuadorian Sumatra leaf with Nicaraguan binder and additional fillers from Colombia and the Dominican Republic, the blend has this earthy, sun‑baked richness and touches of fruit that feel naturally bold and exotic. The untouched character of this tobacco gives you the chance to enjoy nature in it's purest form.

Fun Fact: Hand-twisted remnants of the Bragança tobacco are spun about the cigar and placed as a label, just under the cap, that can be smoked right along with the final third.
