Emilio Cavatina
Emilio Cavatina
Product details
The original Emilio brand was helmed by Gary Griffith in 2010 and became a fan-favorite boutique for years. Unfortunately, when Gary retired, the brand retired with him. Today, we are lucky to have James Brown of Black Label Trading Co. fame working to re-launch Emilio to its former glory. Offering a new music-based spin to the brand with Side 1 and Side 2, Brown created his first symphony for Emilio with the Cavatina.

The blend of Emilio Cavatina is mostly undisclosed. All we know is that the cigars are made in Nicaraguan and use Nicaraguan filler tobaccos. As for the name, James Brown chose “cavatina” as a nod towards the cigar’s complexity. You’ll find a medium to full-bodied blend that’s bold and dark at times, and bright and sweet at others. The finish is the star of the show here – long, complex, and interesting enough to stand up to any bourbon, rum, or scotch you want to throw at it.
