H. Upmann Nicaragua by AJ Fernandez Sunrise marks the third release in the modern series created by Altadis U.S.A., AJ Fernandez and Rafael Nodal. Rolled at Fernandez’s main factory in Estelí, it uses an Ecuadorian Connecticut seed wrapper with a Nicaraguan binder and fillers grown, fermented and aged by Fernandez. The blend was crafted to be smooth, balanced and medium bodied, with a refined character that echoes the early elegance of H. Upmann’s Cuban beginnings.

Sunrise offers easygoing flavor without losing the Nicaraguan personality the line is known for, rounding out the portfolio with a familiar yet polished profile. It will debut at the 2026 PCA Trade Show in New Orleans and ship shortly after in 20 count boxes.
