La Vieja Habana Connecticut
Product details
Before the Ligas, there was La Vieja
La Vieja Habana marks the start of Drew Estate’s story. In 1996, Jonathan Drew was selling these cigars from a small kiosk inside the World Trade Center while a single roller crafted them in Manhattan. As demand grew, production moved to Nicaragua, and the company eventually became one of the most recognized names in the industry, producing millions of cigars each year. La Vieja Habana remains the blend that brings those early days back into focus, offering a flavorful experience at a wallet friendly price.
The La Vieja Habana Connecticut is made at La Gran Fabrica Drew Estate in Esteli, Nicaragua and rolled in a Cuban sandwich style using clippings of premium tobacco from other Drew Estate blends. A Connecticut wrapper gives the cigar an easy draw and a smooth profile with cream, mild spice, and cedar. Mellow to medium in body, it delivers a balanced and approachable character that ties back to Drew Estate’s earliest roots.
