The Origins of Drew Estate
La Vieja Habana marks the start of Drew Estate’s journey, back when Jonathan Drew was selling these cigars from a small kiosk in the World Trade Center with a single roller working in Manhattan. Growing demand pushed production to Nicaragua, and the brand eventually became one of the most recognized names in the industry, now turning out millions of cigars each year. La Vieja Habana remains the reminder of that beginning, offering rich flavor at a friendly price.
Made at La Gran Fabrica Drew Estate in Esteli, the La Vieja Habana Maduro uses tobaccos from the surrounding valleys and is rolled in a sandwich style that incorporates leftover tobaccos from Drew Estate’s other premium blends. A dark Brazilian Maduro wrapper brings smooth richness, a touch of sweetness, earthy coffee notes, and plenty of aroma that ties back to Drew Estate’s early roots.
