Building on the blending triumph of Montecristo MONTE, the responsibility of shaping Montecristo Espada once again fell to the legendary Grupo de Maestros. Partnering with the renowned Plasencia Family, two powerhouse names joined forces to create a truly elite premium cigar.

“Espada,” meaning sword and featured prominently in the Montecristo emblem, is a fitting name for this commanding blend. The Maestros meticulously assembled a Nicaraguan puro using specially aged vintage tobaccos from the country’s three premier growing regions. An oily Habano Jalapa Vintage 2010 wrapper crowns a selection of vintage fillers from Jalapa, Ometepe, and Condega, resulting in a cigar that radiates elegance with a rich, complex body and a deeply rewarding finish.
