REVIEW: LIGA PRIVADA H99

We all know by now that the Buffalo Trace Distillery makes some of the best bourbons in the entire world, and have been doing so for a very long time. Over the past couple of years, they have been releasing blends with their bourbon monikers like Buffalo Trace, Weller, and Eagle Rare, and the newest addition to their cigar portfolio comes in the form of E.H. Taylor - a medium-bodied masterpiece produced at one of the hottest up-and-coming boutique factories in the world, Tabacalera La Isla.

The E.H Taylor blend starts with a sweet and spicy Corojo '99 wrapper overtop a bold Nicaraguan binder and a nuanced blend of Dominican filler tobaccos. Balanced and unique, E.H Taylor boasts flavorful notes of sweet cedar, cream, and almonds, that are followed by a distinctly spicy finish that makes it one of the better new releases on the market. E.H Taylor has already made its way into my normal rotation and I would suggest that you pick up a box of your favorite size and enjoy the wonder that is E.H. Taylor and Tabacalera La Isla.
