At the turn of the century, one crazy gringo was making his way around Nicaragua, learning Spanish as he went. His name was Jonathan Drew. His partner and fraternity brother, Marvin Samel, was back in New York City manning the 16-square-foot kiosk they sold cigars out of in the World Trade Center.
As Drew learned about cigar making, he came up with a unique process of infusing herbs and botanicals into premium Nicaraguan tobacco. Cigars like this were never made before and haven’t been replicated since. From there, ACID cigars were born. Just a few decades old, ACID contains some of the best-selling cigars in the entire world with blends like Blondie and Kuba Kuba.
