The latest regular-production blend added to the historic Bolivar portfolio is an homage to its namesake: the legendary liberator of Latin America, Simón Bolívar.

Produced at STG Honduras in Danlí, each Gran Republica is produced in three sizes and features an Ecuadorian Habano wrapper, a Brazilian Arapiraca binder, and long-fillers from Brazil, Colombia, and Nicaragua. The term Gran Republica was used in the early 19th century to refer to when Colombia and Ecuador were technically known as the Republica de Colombia, and Bolívar was its first president. (The use of tobacco from Colombia and Ecuador was indeed another intentional tribute.) Regardless of which vitola you choose, you're assured to enjoy a bold blend that highlights the diversity of Latin American soil and stands as a salute to a man who was pivotal in its history.
