El Gueguense
El Gueguense
Product details
El Gueguense (pronounced “wah-when-say”) was the initial offering from Nicholas Melillo and Foundation Cigars. Prior to going on his own, Melillo worked at Drew Estate. There, he served as the “man on the ground” in Nicaragua. Helping oversee operations at the factory, sourcing tobacco, fermenting leaves, smoking samples – Nick did it all. So, as you may expect, this debut cigar is no rookie attempt.

El Gueguense easily ranks among the best Nicaraguan cigars available. El Gueguense is crafted at the AGANORSA factory in Nicaragua. You’ll find a Corojo ’99 wrapper and binder, with a mixture of Corojo ’99 and Criollo ’98 in the filler. Medium-bodied, the El Gueguense is a pleasure to smoke. You’ll find a natural sweetness with hints of cedar and spice. Each cigar is aged in cedar humidors for 60 days after rolling, meaning these cigars are ready to go as soon as they land at your door.
