When Nat Sherman exited the cigar business, many assumed the Metropolitan name would disappear, but Michael Herklots and Brendon Scott revived the brand through Ferio Tego in 2021, preserving its legacy and its long‑standing partnership with the Quesada family in the Dominican Republic. That continuity remains central to this anniversary edition, which is handcrafted at TABADEX using an Ecuador Habano wrapper, a Dominican binder and a combination of Dominican and Nicaraguan fillers. Production is limited to 2,500 boxes of 10 cigars.
