Ozgener Family Cigars is the brainchild of Tim Ozgener the former CEO of CAO cigars and the son of CAO founder Cano Ozgener. Tim Ozgener left CAO in 2010 when it became part of General Cigar, and this new venture marks his return to the cigar industry. The Ozgener Bosphorus is the company’s first line and honors the family’s Turkish roots. The Bosphorus is a body of water located in Turkey that divides Europe and Asia.

The medium-to-full-bodied blend starts with a dark Ecuadorian Sumatra wrapper over a dual binder made of Ecuadorian Connecticut and Nicaraguan Jalapa, and a mix of Nicaraguan filler tobaccos from the top growing regions – Esteli, Jalapa, and Ometepe. With tasting notes of earth, wood, pepper, coffee, and spice this is sure to be a cigar that makes for an enjoyable smoking experience.
