Abe Flores' Rosado - Refined and Reborn
Abe Flores is reintroducing one of his signature projects with the return of the PDR Small Batch Reserve line, now packaged in refined cabinet style boxes and highlighted with brighter, more expressive bands. It’s a revival that reflects the growth of PDR, Puros Dominican Republic, and the traditions that shaped Abe’s craft.
Before becoming a respected blender and factory owner, Abe began his career in online advertising. His move into cigars started through hands‑on roles across the industry and early mentorship from Jochy Blanco, who helped guide his understanding of Dominican tobacco and classic production methods. That foundation eventually led Abe to establish his own factories in the Dominican Republic, where he built a reputation for balance, precision and dependable construction. Those qualities carry directly into the Small Batch Reserve Cabinet Rosado.
This version is wrapped in an Ecuadorian Habano Rosado leaf that brings a warm, aromatic character. A Nicaraguan Jalapa binder supports the blend, while Nicaraguan Corojo fillers create a medium bodied profile with notes of cinnamon, cedar and coffee. It’s a smooth, expressive take on small batch craftsmanship, true to the style that defines PDR.
