Rocky Patel’s drive to create memorable smoking experiences continues with Sapphire, a natural follow‑up to the 90+ rated Gold Label and Emerald. This blend took more than a year and over a hundred variations to perfect, all with the goal of capturing that subtle lingering sweetness found in classic Cuban cigars of the past. To get there, the team pulled from deep reserves of vintage Nicaraguan and Honduran tobaccos — some aged six to seven years, others grown as far back as 2014.

The finished cigar feels luxurious from the first draw, built with a dark Mexican San Andrés wrapper, dual binders from Estelí and the Jamastran Valley, and fillers from Condega, Estelí, and Jalapa. It lands in the medium‑to‑full range but stays smooth and expressive, offering notes of coffee bean, espresso, caramel, sweet spice, and touches of chocolate that add richness without overpowering the palate. Every leaf except the wrapper comes from the company’s own farms, and the cigar is handcrafted at Rocky Patel’s Tabacalera Villa Cuba S.A. in Estelí.
