The Edge gets 'enhanced'! 

After years of testing hundreds of blends and countless experiments with different methods of aging tobaccos, Rocky Patel is proud to release a cigar using barrel-aged tobaccos, The Edge Barrel-Aged! The Edge has been a best-selling brand within the industry since its original release well over a decade ago. There have been a multitude of line extensions since the brand's inception, and while they have all garnered their fair share of accolades and awards, nothing has been quite as exciting as this extra-flavorful new variation. Expect nothing short of excellence, as each Barrel-Aged will take your taste-buds to the top-level of intensity, while filling the room with awe-inspiring aromas. These dark delights are no doubt every bit as bold and delicious as The Edge's other lines, but Barrel-Aged brings with it a bit more complexity. The crowd-pleasing profile is packed with caramel, raspberry, red wine, and some sweet cedar notes on the heavy finish. Fabulous!

The Edge Barrel-Aged boasts a long-leaf recipe of Nicaraguan and Honduran Ligeros underneath a dark, redolent Habano wrapper. A portion of the potent long-fillers found in the blend have been laid to rest in casks that once contained whisky and/or port before housing these hearty tobaccos. The additional aging not only smooths out the select Ligero leaves significantly, but also introduces a litany of luscious flavors and characteristics that are derived from the charred wood, creating a combination of complexity and smokability we didn't realize could be achieved before these Barrel-Aged beauties burst through our receiving doors. Medium in body, maybe medium-full by the final third, the newest member of The Edge lineup is more than likely one of the best releases in 2020 and one you should try right away!
