Romeo y Julieta Reserva Real Nicaragua Profundo pushes the Reserva Real line into darker, richer territory, building on both the original Dominican release and the later Nicaraguan edition. Developed by A.J. Fernandez and Rafael Nodal, this Nicaraguan puro uses a deeply fermented Oscuro wrapper to bring out a fuller, more modern take on the classic Romeo profile. The purple band ties together the colors of the earlier releases, marking this as the next step in the series.

With its Nicaraguan wrapper, binder and fillers grown on Fernandez’s farms, the Profundo delivers a medium to full body with flavors of espresso, dark chocolate, earth, pepper, dried fruit and a lingering sweetness. It’s a bolder Romeo that still keeps the smooth, composed character the line is known for.
