The Serie ‘55' Imperial line has seen much success do to its highly attractive price point, commanding quality, and complex flavors. It was a hard task to improve upon such a blend, but Victor Sinclair's blender Jose Dominguez set out to expand the line and create the perfect blend using a PA Broadleaf Maduro wrapper.
Jose Dominguez is known for producing delicious, affordable handmades that, while tasty, are relatively straight-forward. Plot twist! Dominguez flipped the script and successfully created a flavorful standout with his Serie ‘55' Imperial Maduro. Its complex recipe of Dominican, Nicaraguan, and Panamanian long-leaves, a Brazilian binder, and a thick Pennsylvania Broadleaf Maduro wrapper results in profile featuring a rich, leathery core and creamy notes of oak, fruit, and coffee on the finish. This medium to full-bodied blend is a great everyday option for those looking for value.
