The Aganorsa story begins in 1998, when Eduardo Fernandez began his agricultural experiments in Nicaragua. Eduardo worked tirelessly to perfect the growing process of premium cigar tobacco, and from there, Aganorsa became a powerhouse of Nicaraguan tobacco. Part of this success is owed to Eduardo's travels to Cuba. There, he assembled a world class team of Cuban farmers and figured out how to recreate the style and aroma of traditional Cuban cigars in the new world of Nicaragua. Aganorsa is a vertically integrated company, which allows them to oversee the quality of the entire process from seed to ash. Every cigar rolled at their factories in Esteli and Miami are held to their high standards. This is why so many boutique manufacturers use Aganorsa to grow their tobacco and roll their cigars including Warped, Foundation, Dunbarton Tobacco & Trust, and many more. Aganorsa produces their own cigars under many names, but the most popular are likely the Guardian of the Farm series. This brand honors the dogs that guard their farms and factories in Esteli, and is a fantastic medium-bodied blend.
