In 2009, the My Father Cigar factory was opened in Estelí, Nicaragua by José 'Don Pepín' García and his family.  Don Pepin Garcia  is recognized by many as America's hottest cigar maker. Together with his son, Jaime, the two have developed countless blends for My Father as well as several other companies in the market. Many of their have achieved 90+ ratings and "Cigar of the Year" awards.
